Dr. Henry Maccaro is our pediatric dentist with 40+ years of clinical experience. He works closely with patients and parents to help the child develop great oral health and a wonderful smile. In addition to pediatric dental exams, cleanings, and fillings, Dr. Maccaro offers prevention, treatment, and cosmetic repair of dental traumas, and is passionate about treating patients with special needs. He also treats pediatric dental emergencies. Along with our Garden City team, Dr. Maccaro encourages children to take control of their smile’s health. He teaches children about preventive care, good nutrition, and healthy habits.
Dr. Justin Maccaro is our orthodontist who offers orthodontic treatment for all ages. In addition to traditional metal braces, he has extensive experience utilizing Invisalign® clear aligners, with specific experience in the Invisalign Teen® system. Being associated with a pediatric practice gives him the ability to intercept developing problems through early orthodontic treatment, and he also offers surgical orthodontics for patients who require jaw realignment. Using leading-edge technology, including i-CAT® and the iTero® Digital Impression System, he finds the right care solution for each patient. There aren't enough words to describe how great this office is. The staff was amazing over the phone giving recommendations and setting up appointments. The waiting room has a beautiful fish tank! Dr. Maccaro himself was super friendly, and took any uneasiness away immediately from our son and us. He was so charming with our son that he cant wait to go back. The staff especially Santina who helped out so much before during and after our appointment. We left with such a big smile on our faces. They go above and beyond!! Great practice!

We were really blessed to find Dr. Justin Maccaro and staff. From the first visit we felt so comfortable with their professionalism. On the assessment Dr. Justin gave us detailed information and answered all our questions. The ortho treatment for my two sons went so smoothly. They always try to accommodate their schedules and needs. They were patient with them and guide to get the best results. Now both boys have great confident smiles and we cannot be more thankful. The last visits were once covid hit, and they made us feel comfortable and safe. We highly recommend them.

Our family began seeing Dr. Maccaro about a year ago. We love him! Each time we have a visit he makes us laugh. Dr. Maccaro is patient and really has away with kids. My kids are at ease and are so comfortable going to the dentist unlike our previous experiences with dentists. My daughter began with Dr. Justin about 6 months ago. He is awesome! He has managed to make incredible progress on my daughters teeth already. Dr. Justin also really gets kids especially our teenager. He is amazing with her . Who knew going to the dentist/orthodontist could be fun!

My family has been going to Dr. Maccaro for over 12 years. Once the kids needed braces, we started seeing Dr. Justin as well. About 5 years ago we moved to Northern Westchester County. Due to the overwhelming patience, care, expertise and love that the doctors and staff have shown our family, we have continued to drive over an hour to remain patients of this practice. Everyone in the office has made the "scary" dentist reputation disappear and they have become part of our family. If we could give more than 5 stars we would!

Simply exceptional! Dr. Maccaro, Dr. Justin, and the rest of the staff are incredible, and as warm as they are professional. My two boys have been patients since they were toddlers, and they couldn’t be in better hands. The fact that I live in Whitestone and make the trip without ever a complaint says it all! Dr. Maccaro’s humor puts even the littlest of patients at ease, and Dr. Justin’s perfectionism is nonpareil, he’s truly the “Michelangelo of smiles”!

Dr. Justin and Dr. Maccaro are professionals who really listen to you and take the time to make your finished smile perfect ! Everyone in the office is warm and welcoming and do their best to make you feel comfortable . I just finished my orthodontic treatment with Dr. Justin as an adult and my two children have been going to Dr. Maccaro for 12 years for dentistry. He always makes them comfortable and they are not the easiest on the dentist chair. I highly recommend this office for children and adults!
